O site IF Magazine publicou uma entrevista com McG um dos produtores de Supernatural. Nesta entrevista ele fala sobre os rumores que apareceram há uns meses atrás, sobre o facto de Jason Voorhess poder aparecer em Supernatural. Já sabemos que afinal não vai aparecer essa personagem mas alguém parecida com ele. Aqui fica o que ele diz sobre Supernatural:
"For SUPERNATURAL, there were rumors that during its current third season that Jason Voorhees might make an appearance, but months ago, that seemed to be a lost cause due to rights issues with New Line Cinemas. When pressed about this, McG teased that there’s still more to the story, but he isn’t at liberty to discuss.
"It’s a giant surprise in relation that, so you have to stay tuned for that," says McG who says that the CW Entertainment President Dawn Ostroff would kill him if he spoke further. "I can’t even talk about that. That show, we go to such lengths to hold on to the mythology and be respectful of the secrets and twists and turns. And [creator Eric] Kripke has that all figured out and it’s going to surprise you."
